Discovery of the Largest Tiffany Glass Dome

The great urban planner Daniel Burnham believed that in a heavily built-up city like Chicago, space of grand scale should be provided on the first few floors (the base) of those massive skyscrapers for every citizen to use. The spacious experience of going into these dignified internalized space would be like walking into the Panthenon from the narrow streets in Rome. As shown in this photo, we discovered this grand ornate hall decorated with white marble and capped with the largest Tiffany glass dome at the Chicago Cultural Center by accident.
